NYCD creates promotional
CD-ROM to launch Lovefire, the new diamond
brand from DesignWorks Jewelry Group, Ltd.
The disc served as
a marketing handout, putting a wealth of information
on a stylish disc the size of a standard business
card. The CD-ROM featured detailed explanations and
pictures to describe the unique qualities that distinguish
a Lovefire diamond.
NYCD programmed the
CD-ROM to work on both Windows and Macintosh based
computers, incorporating existing materials from the
website, as well as full-motion video. NYCD also manufactured
a small initial run and then updated the disc with
newly available content roughly a month later. NYCD's
rapid production facility in Manhattan manufactured
both runs, allowing the entire update, from new files
to finished product, to be completed in only a few
days.
