Def Jam Enhanced CDs for Method Man and Jay Z

Def Jam Recordings employed NYCD to develop enhanced,
animated promotional CDs for artists Method Man and
Jay Z. The CDs featured links to artist websites and
music videos from upcoming albums, and included sample
audio tracks playable on any standard CD player.
NYCD designed an innovative
animated intro sequence for the Jay Z CD, promoting
the video for “99 Problems” from the recently
released The Black Album. The company also created
distinctive animated content for the Method Man project,
which introduced the artist’s video, “What’s
Happenin’” from the album Trical 0. The
endeavor highlighted NYCD’s animation, CD programming,
and mastering capabilities.
